Boarding at Denton Animal Hospital
Let us ease your mind while you're away—our experienced and caring team will treat your pet like family. At Denton Animal Hospital, we offer a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that feels like a “home away from home” for your dog or cat. We're happy to accommodate any special needs or routines your pet may have—just let us know when booking your reservation.

We provide cozy bedding, clean food and water bowls, and attentive care. You’re welcome to bring your pet’s own bedding, toys, or other washable personal items to make them feel even more at home. We’re also happy to administer medications and follow your pet’s specific feeding schedule. If you prefer, we can supply a high-quality diet and treats at no additional cost—though many pets do best staying on their regular food.

​Need a fresh, clean pet to take home? Ask us about adding grooming services before pick-up. While your pet stays with us, they’re monitored closely by our kennel staff and checked on regularly by our veterinary technicians. Should any health concerns arise, our on-site clinicians are ready to begin treatment right away.

​For senior pets or those with medical conditions, we can also arrange overnight monitoring by a member of our veterinary team for added peace of mind.
To protect all our guests, we require current rabies and distemper vaccinations, along with other species-specific vaccines. Most vaccinations must be administered at least two weeks prior to boarding, so please reach out to us in advance for full details.
Boarding Playtime 
In addition to three walks per day, you can opt for one of our following playtime packages during your pet’s stay:
  • Playtime 1 – One 10- minute play time trip to our outdoor play area
  • Playtime 2 – 20 minutes or two 10- minute play time trips to our outdoor play area
  • Playtime 3 – 30 minutes or three 10- minute play time trips to our outdoor play area
  • Activities Include: Ball fetching, Water-play, Scent Exploration, Ice Cube Craze, Frisbee Toss, Bubbles, and Cuddles​

​Daycare at Denton
Our facility offers a safe and social environment as an alternative for leaving pets alone during the day. Most pets crave socialization and some can become anxious and destructive when left alone for hours at a time. 

Doggie Day Care is a better option for busy pet owners. Supervised play time is available for dogs that are polite, social playmates. We utilize our large, fenced back yard for group playtime. 

Daily exercise is important for your pet’s mental and physical well being.  Many pet owners are exhausted from a long day’s work, and are unable to give their dog the exercise they need.

After spending the day playing with their canine friends, your pet will be more relaxed when they return home.  Please note, all pets must be current on vaccines and parasite screening.
